Initially interested in pursuing a career in engineering, Michael L. Mason temporarily changed his career path and joined the military. After 22 years of service in the United States Air Force, he was medically discharged and returned to school to earn a degree in engineering. In 2000, he graduated from ITT with a Bachelor of Science in engineering. For the past 11 years, he has served as a biomedical equipment technician for Roche Diagnostics Corporation; a health care solutions company that services medical devices. In his position, he is responsible for training equipment technicians internationally and working with vital hospital and PCR equipment. With perseverance and determination, he has succeeded throughout his career. Recognized for his merit and humanitarian contributions, he received the Humanitarian Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Marksman Medal with the United States Air Force.
Mr. Mason is a volunteer with the YMCA, Masonic Lodge, and various outreach initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, watching football and basketball, and coaching kids in his community.
